"Humanscapes-Photography"
Born in Naples in 1976.
Graduated in scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts (Naples).
Chiefly I work as a graphic designer.
During the last year I’ve participated in collective exhibitions but I never realized a personal one.
In march 2005 I won the third place in a competition for young artists organized by the italian version of the magazine Computer Arts which published some of my works and an interview. |

I’m creating works of computer art trying to combine the “human” warmth of ink or the sign of oil-painting with photographic images, even if at the end the latter get the better of it.
I like to contradict the predictability of the photographic picture inserting unexpected and unusual elements.
Of course I am influenced by several artists and tendencies, but dadaism and surrealism are my foremost sources of inspiration (and I must admit that my studies of scenography unconsciously have influenced my way of conceiving the images).
Lately I utilize as models the bodies of elderly men:
I’m fascinated by the lack of symmetry, the complexity of the skin and the unusual beauty who permit me to transmit my personal sensations/obsessions or to reinvent ancient myths.
